Q: Has Senator Santiago indicated her preferences?

SP: She's saying she's now in the Minority.

Q: That's why hindi niya nakuha ang Blue Ribbon. She says that's her preference.

SP: You know, your preference will not always be the one that will go to you.

Q: Sir, what was the reason given by Senator Santiago for not participating?

SP: I don't know. I have not talked to her.

Q: So 'yung caucus kanina, parang nag-agree si Senator ... 'yung Energy kasi parang she prefers it...

SP: No, I distributed the committees. I was the one who assumed the responsibility of distributing the committees and I left it to them to do whatever they want. As far as I am concerned, I leave it to my peers to decide about my position as Senate President. After all, they have the votes.

Q: Sir, wala po kay Senator Miriam? Wala pong assignment si Senator Santiago?

SP: I could not assign to her any committees because she was not present.

On Maynilad-Pagcor Midnight Deal

Q: Sir, may we have an update on the possible investigation of the Maynilad-Pagcor midnight deal?

SP: I don't know. There's no resolution filed here. We cannot just investigate anything here.
