ON THE PASSING OF DILG SEC. JESSE ROBREDO

The nation has lost one of its greatest citizens and leaders. Secretary Jesse Robredo was an inspiring leader who truly worked for the people, with the people. He was as famous for his humility as for his achievements in governance.

Jesse Robredo's inspiring leadership proves that good governance is not only possible--it is doable. May we all strive to keep his legacy alive.

We grieve with his family and the people of Naga. May the outpouring of love and sympathy give them the fortitude to overcome this tragedy.
