He also recalled the participation of Partido Magdalo in the struggle for the national independence during the Spanish period. On the other hand, Revilla mentioned the legacy of LAKAS-CMD in pushing economic development nationwide during the administration of President Fidel Ramos.

Also during the unification rally, the lawmaker declared the tandem of Remulla and his son , Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas (LNB) Executive Vice President and Cavite Board Member Jolo Revilla in the provincial elections 2013. "Actions always speak louder than words. Unlike a dime a dozen empty promises being thrown around you can never go wrong with character, track record and vision traits that both Jonvic and Jolo have over others. This team will not back down. This team will always fight. More importantly, this team will deliver! Ito ang Dream Team ng Cavite ! "

The lawmaker also praised the Cavite governor for the International Standards Organization o ISO certification given to the Provincial Capitol.

He stressed that Remulla deserves to be reelected.

On the younger Revilla, the senator said his son is a competent running mate of Remulla.

He admitted the political squabbles of the two parties in the past.
