Q: Tuloy na po ba talaga yung LP Convention?

SPFMD: Ang National Executive Committee, ang meeting ay sa September 30. Yun ang aming kasunduan. And on September 30, we will formally nominate Secretary Mar Roxas' vice presidential candidate and the senators, sa September 30.

Q: May names na po ba tayo sa senatorial candidates?

SPFMD: For senators we have about 15 in the shortlist, and I assume I will be in that list siguro naman, and the incumbent LP senators - Ralph Recto and TG Guingona, si Secretary Francis Pangilinan, si Secretary Leila De Lima. Iyan po ang ilan sa aming pinaguusapan na kasama sa slate at patuloy po ang aming pag-uusap. Kung hindi makumpleto kaagad by September 30 we will complete it by the time for the deadline for the filing.

Q: Sir kamusta po yung search po sa vice presidential candidate ni Secretary Mar?

SPFMD: Patuloy po ang paguusap ni Secretary Mar at ni Congresswoman Leni, kasama si Pangulong Aquino. I understand that by September 30 malalaman namin kung ano ang napagdesisyunan nila.

Q: Sir nakipag-meeting din si Pangulong Aquino kay Senator Cayetano. What does that mean? Is he also being offered the post?

SPFMD: I do not know. I read it in the papers. I have not been informed on the matter.

Q: Kanino po ba officialy inoffer so far yung VP position?

SPFMD: Sa pagkakaalam ko, pinaguusapan ni Secretary Mar at ni Pangulong Aquino si Congresswoman Leni Robredo. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinagusapan ng Pangulo at ni Senator Alan Peter, although he has been one of those considered from my point of view as viable.

Q: Sir ano po yung chances po ni Congresswoman Leni? Ang sinasabi po, the daughters po ata, ayaw.

SPFMD: I have no personal knowledge on that matter.

Q: Nakakausap niyo po ba si Congresswoman Leni?

SPFMD: Ay hindi ko nakakausap.

Q: What about Senator Alan Cayetano?

SPFMD: Araw-araw po naguusap kami sa Senado.

Q: Napagusapan niyo po yung meeting niya with President Aquino?

SPFMD: Hindi, dahilan sa iyon ay nangyari nitong Miyerkules, at kahapon ay hindi kami nagkita dahil wala kaming sesyon sa Senado.

Q: Kumakalat po na Manny Pacquaio po ay kasama sa inyong line up. Is that true?

SPFMD: Well, isa siya sa mga pangalan na pinag-uusapan namin. What the final slate will be, at this point I have no knowledge about, but Manny Pacquiao has been one of the names.

Q: Ilan po ba yung ibibigay na slots for the coalition parties?

SPFMD: Wala pa kaming pinagusapan.
