Statement on the Miriam-Marcos Senatorial Ticket

I am grateful for my inclusion in the Miriam-BongBong senatorial ticket.

I am expressing my thanks because good manners require me to acknowledge such a kind gesture. Politeness must trump partisan politics any time

Senators Santiago and Marcos are esteemed hardworking colleagues whose love for country and commitment to work for the uplifting of the lives of our people are genuine and beyond doubt.

I am also heartened by their pledge to conduct a campaign which will focus on platform, vision, and issues, which I hope will be the general tenor of the presidential race.

Certainly, any commitment to elevate the quality of public discourse would help voters make an informed choice come election day.
