Says Marcos is runaway winner in his QC district

THREE-term congressman and two-term councilor Vincent "Bingbong" Crisologo of Quezon City today endorsed the vice presidential candidacy of Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

Aside from Crisologo, his son, Onyx, number one Quezon City councilor who is seeking reelection, Von Yalong, also running for councilor in the city, and former congressman Chuck Mathay, likewise expressed support for Marcos.

The endorsement of Crisologo, who is running again for congressman in the First District, and his group took place when Marcos visited Bgy. Pag-ibig ng Nayon.

"Alam ninyo nagpa-survey ako...300 ang pina-survey ko bawat barangay at sa 37 barangay (ng District 1) ay lamang na lamang ang ating vice president, Vice President Bongbong Marcos," he said.

The meeting, held inside the compound of Arce Ice Cream plant, was also attended by groups that came from other barangays like Bgys. Damayan, Del Monte, ang Bahay Toro.

Crisologo also defended the Marcoses against those who have been spreading lies and black propaganda against the family.

He cited some of the projects of the late president, Ferdinand Marcos Sr., father and namesake of the senator, which are giving relief and benefits to the people until now.

"Iyang LRT (Light Rail Transit), kanino ba plano 'yan? Plano pa ng tatay ng ating vice president 'yan. 'Yang Heart Center, 'yang Lung Center, 'yang Kidney Center, lahat 'yan plano ng tatay ng ating vice president," he said.

Mathay, for his part, vowed that his family will support the vice presidential candidacy of Marcos.

"Ako ay sumusuporta nang 100 percent, ang buong pamilya namin dito sa Quezon City, walang iba kundi para kay Bise Presidente Bongbong Marcos," he said.

Onyx likewise assured support for Marcos saying that his father also comes from Ilocos (region) like the senator who is from Ilocos Norte.

Marcos expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received as he called on the attendees to join him in his crusade for national unity, the anchor of his election campaign and the heart of his platform of government.

"Talaga namang marami nang sumasapi dito sa ating kilusan at kahit ano pa ang mababasa ninyo, kahit ano pa ang sabihin ng iba, dumadami, lumalakas, lumalawak ang ating kilusan sa pagkakaisa ng Pilipinas," he said.

He gave the same message of unity when he visited afterward Bgy. U.P. Village, District IV, where he was met by a huge crowd chanting: "Bongbong Marcos!"

Members of the BBM movement, a multi-sectoral movement campaigning for him, together with other groups like Alliance of People's Network, Victorious Philippines, Muslim contingents, senior citizens, youth groups, former Kabataang Barangay officers, and residence of the barangay jam-packed the covered court expressing unwavering support for Marcos.

Bgy. U.P. Village Chairman Leo Ferrer vowed to deliver around 120,000 votes for Marcos from District IV, composed of 38 barangays. He is running for councilor.
