GRACE POE ON PROPOSED CHARTER CHANGE

The results of the very same Pulse Asia survey conducted last month show however a significant increase of 10 points from 27% in 2014 to 37% among the people who think the Charter has to be amended whereas the 44% used to be much higher. Taking into consideration the 3% margin of error, it appears that it is as of today a close call, but the trajectory of more people having the inclination to amend or revise the constitution under the present dispensation may gain more ground. For this reason, there should be more public discussions and consultations about this to further enlighten the public.
