ROBREDO's RESIGNATION FROM HUDCC

I am saddened by the decision of Vice President Leni Robredo to resign from her cabinet post and that a reconciliation is out of sight.

In her brief stint as Housing secretary, we have established a good working relationship on housing and urban development matters such as the creation of the Department of Housing and the implementation of In-City relocation of Metro Manila poor.

For the past months, I have come to admire her vision and her determination to address the country's housing problems.

Nevertheless, governance is not about personalities but how we work together to meet the challenges of providing affordable and decent housing for all Filipinos.

I urge everyone to continue supporting President Rodrigo Duterte's vision of peace and order, equitable development, and independent foreign policy.
