It used to be just rumors, mainly harmless, and gossips--in showbiz, at work and in politics. Gossips, the Bible says, are spread by perverse people; they stir up conflict and break up friendships. (Proverbs 16:28)

Now, it's worse. There are so-called alternative truths which, in reality, are lies, outright lies. Fake news are now a dime & a dozen. Black propaganda vs. political opponents is a craft now nearing perfection.

This phenomenon is breaking up our nation.
