We join our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebration of the Eid'l Fitr.

Today marks the culmination of the Ramadan, a holy month dedicated mainly to fasting, prayer, and almsgiving. It is our hope that the Ramadan has fortified your faith, even as the festivities that now follow usher in fresh hopes and nourishment for the body and the spirit.

This occasion comes at a propitious time as we remain steadfast in our goal of achieving lasting peace and prosperity.

It is our fervent hope that through the Eid'l Fitr, we will emerge as better citizens prepared to face new challenges in our personal lives and as a nation.
