Statement of Sen. Cynthia Villar on Manny Pacquiao's win

I join the Filipino community here and around the world in celebrating the win of Sen. Manny Pacquiao against American boxer Adrien Broner.

At 40, Pacquiao showed that he still possessed the heart and muscle of a champion and successfully defended his title as the World Welterweight Champion against the much younger Broner.

I thank him for once again bringing honor and glory to the Philippines and for being a source of pride and inspiration to the Filipino people.
