Sen. Bam: Stop verbal attacks against Catholic priests

Re-electionist Sen. Bam Aquino called for a stop to verbal attacks on Catholic priests after some of them reportedly received death threats.

Sen. Bam insisted that the maligning of priests must stop, stressing that mocking men of God is not acceptable in the Filipino culture.

Bam, who is running under the Otso Diretso slate.

Sen. Bam added that the administration should not be sensitive if being rebuked by Catholic priests, saying they are duty-bound to speak on issues of moral concerns.

Sen. Bam called on the government to take the death threats against some Catholic priests seriously by looking into it and ensuring their protection and safety.

Bam.

Like the Catholic priests, Sen. Bam is also at the receiving end of fake news and black propaganda for standing up against issues that affect the welfare of the Filipino people.

Bam.

However, Sen. Bam said he will not be deterred by fake news, believing that the truth about his accomplishments, including his 40-plus laws in almost six years as senator, will come out.

Bam.
