After making free college a reality, Sen. Bam wants to ensure jobs for graduates

ILOILO CITY -- After making the landmark Free College Law a reality, re-electionist Sen. Bam Aquino has vowed to work for the passage of his measure that will ensure employment for K-12 and college graduates.

During his speech at a youth event in Jaro, Sen. Bam said his Trabaho Center Bill will help fulfil the dream of parents to see their children get a stable job after finishing college.

Bam, who pushed for the passage of the Free College Law as principal sponsor.

According to Sen. Bam, the next big challenge is to guarantee that recipients of the Free College Law will have stable jobs after receiving their diplomas.

Bam said, adding that Trabaho Center Bill is the next best crucial reform after the Free College Law to help uplift the lives of Filipinos, especially the poor.

Sen. Bam's Trabaho Center Bill seeks to establish Trabaho Centers or job placement offices in public high schools and state universities and colleges (SUCs).

If passed into law, the measure will help solve the prevalent problem of jobs mismatch and high unemployment rate in the country.

Bam.
