RECYCLED PLASTIC WASTES CHAIRS: Education Sec. Armin Luistro tries the sturdiness of the plastic chairs from plastic wastes, which are being made under Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty and Alleviation Governance). Sen. Cynthia A. Villar proudly tells Luistro that her “Waste Plastic Recycling Project” which produces plastic chairs, donated to public schools, is a very good example of the link between livelihood generation and environment protections—two of her advocacies. She says turning all plastic wastes into raw materials has not only created livelihood enterprises but also reduce garbage hauling costs.
