DRILON GRATEFUL FOR YOLANDA ASSISTANCE: Senate President Franklin M. Drilon on Sunday, November 23, 2014, expressed his “deep gratitude” to the Japanese government who continues to assist municipalities ravaged by Typhoon Yolanda through the donation of 17 emergency vehicles to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). Drilon, President of the Philippines-Japan Parliamentarians Association (PJPA), also thanked Kenji Kosaka (left), Member of the House of Councilors of Japan and President of Japan-Philippines Parliamentarian Friendship League (JPPFL), who chose to attend the event a day after an 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit the Japanese prefecture of Nagano, where Kosaka lives.
