Villar noted that more and more people are needing help. “And because we are now experiencing the adverse effects of climate change, we have to brace ourselves for more extreme weather disturbances,” said Villar during the Philippine Red Cross – Las Piñas City Subchapter Thanksgiving & Recognition of Partners in Service. She exhorted Red Cross members to continue helping each other in order to provide better services to our countrymen needing assistance and support.
