Hail the teachers!: Teachers, the children’s second parents in schools, deserve pampering. This was the gist of several measures heard by the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical and Vocational Education chaired by Sen. Joel Villanueva during a hearing held Tuesday, October 1, in celebration of National Teachers’ Month. Later in the afternoon, Villanueva co-sponsored, and adopted in the plenary, Senate Resolution Nos. 142, 149 and 155 commending the Filipino teachers for their hard work and commitment in shaping the learners of all generations, (PRIB photo by Albert Calvelo/01 October 2019)
